Commentary: "Friends and Admirers of Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga across the Globe Salutes him and the Akpabio/Ekere Ticket for a Well Ran Gubernatorial Campaign"

We the Friends and Admirers of His Excellency Retired Commodore Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State join the overwhelming majority of Akwa Ibom People to congratulate HE (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio and Obong Nsima Ekere for their super majority election on April 26, 2011.

The ticket was sure of victory because it was a good product and was easy to sale to the People under HE Otuekong Nkanga's leadership as the campaign director.

HE Otuekong Nkanga's is a father of modern Akwa Ibom State and deserves the appreciation and praise of all generations of our people. We are very proud of our friend for the job well done.

Against all criticisms from his former military superiors and insults from every Tom and Dick, HE Otuekong Nkanga stood his ground and worked extremely hard for the delivery of His Excellency Godswill Obot Akpabio second term. Akwa Abasi Ibom State has a good team to excel towards a "more perfect" state and greatness.

For standing up for the unity and progress of Akwa Ibom, for helping the Governor Akpabio and his Deputy Elect Nsima Ekere to campaign in all of the 31 Local Government Areas of the State, and for delivering over 86% of the total vote cast, he is a man of the people.

In the Summer of 2010, long before he was named the Campaign Director General, Otuekong was in London with AIDN leaders at Ibom Day's Stakeholders Forum Moderated by Dr. Victor Udo. He was there to show Akwa Ibom People in Europe the product he was about to present to the people for the second term. The Diaporan were not disappointed.

In several occasions, he took the time to brief our people over the work of his candidate with all humility, integrity and passion. His Excellency Retired Commodore Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga is a true servant leader. We congratulate HE (Dr.) Godswill Akpabio and Obong Nsima Ekere for their foresight to select the best man for the job.

Your Excellency Retired Commodore Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga, there is nothing any of us can do to pay you back for the leadership you gave to our people. We pray that God will bless and reward your richly.
